| Sir Richard... I certainly hope your first book will be your journal.. (dont forget a small part for the Ranger of Refuse though  ) It could be on photography but does not have to necessarily be so....this journal is full of suspense you know

| A live journal!!! wonderful idea Tonka! I feel like I'm going on this journey to the lake too!!! AND... the curbside as well!  But, that little trek didn't have the element of "adventure & challenge"!  LOL Keep us Posted, Richard!!!!

Okay, the hike is on for tonight. Forecast for Friday morning sunrise is mild temps, 10% cloud cover and 6 mph winds out of the west. (Not optimum clouds, and the wind will ripple the lake. But, it's time to do this.)
The clouds and storms are still on the Colorado/Kansas border, but they are diminishing and moving east. So, the sun should give me the light I want at sunrise on Chasm Lake and the peaks above.
Will leave at 10:30 pm tonight.... hoping to arrive at Chasm Lake at 4:30 am. No moon tonight, so the headlamp will be essential.
With a little luck, I'll have many photo opportunities. Back to the house by early afternoon on Friday.

| Okay...cool...so glad I wasnt helping you plan this trip Richard...lol I just found out today is Thursday and NOT Wednesday.. oye vay someone help me!! and I have been taking my vitamins...so much for that theory heh heh.. Just in a good mood today , that must be it ..right?
