Tonka (5/26/2007) ...this morning I opened a pic and it was all weird lookin,,just pixellated and sharpies and just weird lookin....
Your described symptoms suggest you are looking at the images at more than 100%. If, for example, you view an image at fill the screen and that size is larger than image pixels in the image, it will look pixelated with jaggies and possibly aritfacts. Less than 100% view won't have the image distortions. Just a hunch here.

| Alrighty then,, I went to edit and then clicked on display and cursors,, it was set to normal..I check a different box and then looked ,,still the same crosshairs..then I went back and switched it back to normal...closed the program and then reopened the window..still same thing..

These are the instructions for changing the appearance of the tool pointer.

Your preference screen should look like this:

But, it sounds like you are stuck. You should kill the existing preference file. The application will create a new one, with default settings.

I will kill the file next time I open... right now it is working though...had to check "show crosshair"..
