Suggestions, or some post-processing help with this one, thanks so much... no rush, whenever you get a few minutes.  Thanks

The only thing about this shot that bothers me is how sharp it is. Normally I like tack sharp landscapes but this seems too sharp. I would maybe add a little glaussian blur. just a tad. Other than that it seems fine. great exposure and color saturation.

Agree with WRK, learn't on DA (just a little while ago) to look for sharpening halos when editing. I would also straighten horizon a tad. Otherwise good autumn pic.

I like it, the colors are good, the reflections look good, but it seems oversharpened on my monitor.  I'm guessing that it looks a lot better in a larger size version.  Sometimes landscapes with lots of fine detail don't compress well.  Try cropping off about 20% along the left side and then resize that down to 640 and see if you like that better.

Yeah, lots of sharpening artifacts here.  Nice color but I found that to be very distracting.  What's the original (out of the camera) look like?

wow! Thank you all so much for taking the time to reply! I have been having trouble with the sharpening factor... trying to get that true feeling of fall and warmth, and seeing the details at the same time. For some reason I just really like this image, and it was a wonderful afternoon that day... so I'd like to take a little extra time to make it right. And as everyone knows... a dozen eyes are better than 2     I will upload the original (tomorrow), and we'll see what happens!!! thanks again for such constructive, inspiring replies!

Hi Sherry, have actually had a play with this. Hope you don't mind? Couldn't get rid of artifacts with my limited processing program. What do you think?
