I have a major issue. I have an 11 yr old, 15 yr old and 16 year old. They are in the same room with me when I vote. If people are going to include porn on the site there needs to be a filter in place so that those of us who do not want to see it, wont see it. The issue needs to be addressed and needs to addressed NOW.
One of the reasons I am involved in the site is that it usually is a decent place to be where I don't have to deal with a bunch of nude or almost nude photos and then explain to my kids No its not okay for you to view it, but it's okay for me. I believe in practice what you preach and if they are not allowed to view photos like I have seen here lately, then I should not view them either.
I don't want to waste the money I spent on a membership because I have to leave the site and it should be the responsibility of the site administrators to add a content filter if they can not control the content. It is getting ridiculous.
So lets ignore the issue and turn DA into a porn site or address the issue and add a content filter or deal with the ones making the community go downhill.

I have not see any pornographic images while voting on the site. There is an "offensive image" check-box to use when you are voting on these images. This alerts ADMIN to their presence. As well, if you have any examples (Photo ID #'s or photographers) please email (info@dailyawards.com) or PM admin with the details so they can be reviewed/removed. Thanks, WE

| Done that. The problem is that this is the fourth one in two weeks. And I am probably one of the first 15 to vote on them because they don't tell me I have voted below the average. The main part that upsets me is that even if it is a subject that is naked but not showing any parts, I do not have advanced warning to get my kids away from the sight of my monitor and it should not be there anyway.

Why can't we introduce a "adult content" option that can be opted out by users?

Very well said Jill, that exactly is the reason why I have stopped voting for a while now, actually back in march-08 I had reported one such photograph to Eric, but unfortunately he couldn't find that on the site, I have my son who is just 8 years sitting with me most of the time I vote, so its 100% impossible to vote when you have such images here..... I was making a mind to vote again in near future, but this post has warned me about the hazards of voting here...............
Please remove all those "adult" photographs from this very clean and family oriented site.
Eric please do. And I am sure you will do it now.

Then its easy: all nudes will be deleted as soon as uploaded.
But somebody would have to check it
