He was unmasked when he left the comments..... And yes, the comments didn't make any sense.

| As Lisa stated, he was unmasked. I'm not sure how he managed to leave 5 comments on an unarchived photo. I didn't even send him an RFC.

jill028 (7/14/2008) Could do it by using the back browser button and putting it in the commentsI guess that's possible although I don't know why one would choose to do that.

Was it the same exact comment over and over again? I don't remember if it was a comment or a reply to a comment but I recently saw a comment duplicated a bunch of times from a regular here on the forum's and it was definitely a glitch.
I would be very disappointed if DA were to split between experience levels. I don't think I would even stick around. That is one of DA's best features. I value everyone's opinions; amateurs probably the most of all. I'm just starting out when it comes to photography as a career. My business will mostly be with everyday people so they give the opinions I value most. I never could see myself thinking a newbie don't know what they are talking about if they voted in a honest and thoughtful manner. They know what they like and don't like and that is good enough for me.

No. It was 5 seperate negative quick comments. "Lacking Interest" "Unlevel Horizon" "Low resolution" "Poor compositon" "Out of focus"

That's crazy! Well, at least it was reported. I sure see a side to human behavior that I don't normally see.

| Well, I'm still hoping it was glitch. I just don't see why someone would take the time and energy to be silly and malicious like that.

| To Lisa & All: It's unfortunately a fact of human behavior and as long as there are opportunities for people to show their worst side and do it without consequence, they will endeavor to act like the idiots they are. I hope you're right and that this person, or persons have been reported and that some action will follow. I have settled on this site as my last stand and if this problem persists, I'm not sure I can continue to deal. I love honest, unbiased feedback, especially from the many talented photographers on this site... without this outlet, it really takes the fun out of it. Grow up people! Put your miserable little attitudes away and play it straight, or go away and be the bottom feeders in another pond. Thanks for letting me rant... Frank 4fun P.S. Just wanted to add Roberto, I get it now, I give you a 6, you give me a 5, or 6... I give you an 8, you give me a hard 6. So with your method, if I give you 10's, I might actually get an 8... woo hoo this is fun. I have a better idea, don't vote on my profile pics, I already don't vote on yours.
