One of my images had signature rating of 7.0 and standard rating of 7.3 and round about yesterday night after receiving 3 and 1 votes respectively. Now after few minutes member weighted in his/her 300s rated it a 7, so the signature rating remained the same but the standard rating went down to 7.2 and round about, after a few minutes another member in his/her 300s voted 7 and again the standart rating went down to 7.17 while the signature rating remained unchanged. Is this normal? I mean I was under the impression that when a signature member votes on your image signature rating of that image changes. Isn't that so?

Bhas if your signature rating is 7.0000 and you get a 7 from any weighted signature voter, your average will remain 7.0000. THere's no place else for it to go.

Ya thats alright but will that reduce the standard rating also? I mean the signature rating remains unchanged alright but does that reduce the standard rating?

If your standard rating is 7.3 and you get a 7.0, the standard rating will be pulled down closer to a 7.0.

| Signature member's votes count in both the STANDARD and the SIGNATURE ratings. . A signature vote currently carries a weight of 4 in standard voting calculations. This has been requested to be change to 21. . A signature vote carries its FULL weight in Signature voting calculations.
