I recently responded to a request and recived a notice from the photographer that they did not understand what I ment in my reply . How do I reply to that ? I did a members check but the excat name does not show up . The image was of a dog with flash in the pupils , I had simply put the eyes should be fixed , thinking they would know in animals green -grey eye is the same as red eye in people and should be black .

Simply clarify what you meant by "fixed". Like you just explained in the post.

Yes that is what I wanted to do but How do I reply to that person ,I can not find the user name in my search . Is there another way of contacting this person ? When you recieve a reply by e-mail you can not respond to that . So Just wondering how I am to contact this person , have I missed something , wouldn't be the first time I messes up and there may be an easy fix ,but I don't know it .

I totally understand

I recently suggested somewhere a function that let's us reply to the reply, but it doesn't exist yet.

When you get a comment email, you can click reply and it takes you directly to the shot.  But if you reply, someone responds, and then you want to reply again, VERY difficult to find the same image again

Community >> Search >>> Photos

It's a powerful search function. All you need to know is the title of the photo. (You can look up the photographer, but if the image is still active but has not won an award, you won't see it in their profile. So, just search for the photo by title.)

If you don't find the image with this search function, it may have been deleted. Or, the title may have changed. Or, the image may have been resubmitted with a different title.

Otherwise, the search function works very well. One must pay attention to spelling and I think the search is case sensitive. Sometimes it's a good idea to use the wild card character %. For example, if you only know that the word dog is a portion of the title, you could enter %dog% to widen the search.

I don't think it's a good idea to have an easy method of exchanging responses on images, as some exchanges would spiral out of control
.

Just want to correct one of my misstatements.

The search function is not case sensitive. So, for example, %dog% search will return both dog and Dog
.
