| Hi, I was hoping that some of you great people out there could give me some tips on a few images. I've only had this camera for a week, and have only just got to grips with the basics of photography, but I want to improve! Here are some examples of what I'm taking, thanks!:

Welcome to DailyAwards, new photographer! Rather than give you feedback on your posted images, I'd prefer to vote on your images as they appear in my voting window and I encourage you to ask me for full critiques on your images based on my vote on your anonymous images. That's usually the best situation for me. And, this will provide the most sincere, honest feedback for you. Receiving constructive criticism requires a thick skin. But, if you're really interested in advancing your photographic skills, then enter your best 1% in the contest and take the votes and ask for the feedback. (Requires a paid subscription, I think. Well worth it!) Don't be offended by some people who ignore your requests for comments. I will always offer you a straight shot.
Also, there are some articles I'd like you to read. (Seems self-serving, but these recommendations are actually altruistic in nature.) These will help you interpret my constructive criticism critiques.

Good luck and best wishes. Looking forward to voting on your images in the contest. Don't hesitate to ask for feedback through the RFC (request for comment) feature available to subscribing members.

| Thanks for those comments. I'll resize them using another programme to the one I used before - I know the quality isn't great in this format but in full view it's far better - and upload them properly. Those links are really interesting too. As I say, I'm only literally just starting but I'm already becoming quite mad about photography so I can tell this is a long-term interest that I do want to get better at. I'm therefore open to all critique, I know the pictures aren't that great so I'm ready for people not liking them! I've done a huge amount of competitions in acting before and run a hotly debated podcast so I've recieved some harsh words in the past, it's not new to me! Thanks again, keep the tips coming guys and gals!

I really the liked "Sharpen The Saw"...also many others but it's like the saying "practice makes perfect" although you couldn't really ever say perfect I think you get the idea.
