Does anyone have tips for shooting a band in a bar? I have a Nikon D300, 85mm 1.8 Nikkor lens and 18- 200mm VR Zoom Nikkor lens.

Linda, does he ever come to the forums or do you know a way to get a hold of him? I went to his profile and his name is just repeated in the parenthesis, so that is his forum user name too? Searched his name on the forum with no results. Clicked on the link to his website and it couldn't be displayed.

I think you should be able to PM him using his name. Good luck!

Hope he doesn't find out he's being 'stalked'!

I thought you could only pm from the forums? They never heard of him. I did just see though that he is one of the newly added Junior DAGC members so he is not far. Thinking I'm a stalker, I never thought of that Maybe all 3 of us fellow GC junior members named Linda should all try stalking him, that should really freak him out!

Only two Lindas still on the DAGC.....I've decided to not be a member....for now.

If you go to the PM-ing (messages) section up above (I typed in PMS-ing the first time.....a slip?), put his name on a new pm........it works.

Susan, Ha Ha Ha, yeah, not a good idea. My brother arranged for me to be able to take pictures of a band that is having a CD release party. The last time I went to the bar with my brothers I got a little more tipsy than I like my family to see and don't want a repeat performance. I'm surprised my brother didn't tease me and mention our last outing.

Linda, thanks for your help, I'll try it. Sorry to hear your not on the committee, but I can understand why you might not want to be at the moment.
