I just finished voting for this challenge, I don't think most people understood it was meant for shots of "daily activities".

Same here, the thing with challenges in my opinion is to keep to the challenge, so even a technically excellent image will be down rated if it is not within the subject of the challenge. Kind of handing in a project to a teacher that has nothing to do with the original question.

Well I think thats a good possibility seeing as when you sign up they ask what language you like to use. Also people around the world are participating so I would guess there are many things that are not everyday activities for me that could be for another. Thus bringing me back to my point.

Hmmm, yes....

Close up can mean different things...there are also different kinds of close up too..

there is macro and then there is micro...but do either of these only qualify as "close up"..

imo...I don't think it needs to be either to qualify as close up..
(unless the issue is the activity?) still..room to agree or disagree...
categories are often difficult to define and perceive and agree on..

I think that as long as there is some room to say.."maybe it does qualify" well it should be considered.but what do I know ...

...I was quite fond of 2 or 3 in this challenge ...(good work whose ever they were )

From my side the issue wasn't necessarily the close-up issue, but the everyday activity. But that is just me again.........
