Here's a trick not a lot of people know about. One way to verify if your horizon is level is to use the reflection as the guide. The peak of the mountain should match perfectly with its reflection. As you can see, it's a bit off. I wouldn't have noticed to be honest and of course would not have deducted any points. But I would still vote it a six....just because.

On topic, you can tilt the horizon for effect. The link below will take you to a recent challenge at DPC.

DPChallege "Tilt"

I would observe that one needs to tilt quite a lot to make the image appear to be artistic and interesting, as opposed to appearing to be a mistake.

My ratings would be 5,5, and 7. Too me the middle one is obviously crooked. The bottom one is less obvious. Thanks for the tip for determining accuracy on the bottom one Will. I have a hard time with architecture. Sometime I want to try the keystone edit with photoshop but aside from that is there any tips getting them right during shooting or post? I love to shoot old buildings and they seem to be even harder to get right.

I feel the same way as Richard about diagonals. If it isn't far enough it just looks, and probably is a mistake.
