So in other words... the accounts, even though they have no images uploaded, and never have, can continue to vote?  hmmmmm

Some of us have NO images posted and like to vote...and can do so fairly.

LOL...I have a new perspective as a 2 weight user...this site is truly NOT newbie-friendly.  If I had no experience here, I would feel unwanted and leave...as it is, most people have no idea of my past here and assume I'm some schmuck that has nothing to offer.  I have already gotten the comments that elude to my opinion not being as valuable because I have no images posted.  How do we know what others have by way of experience or could contribute based on their lack of submissions.

The incessant complaining about everything is really getting to be too much....it is alienating just about every type of member and level of participation...

Low votes, no votes, masked votes, targeted votes, votes by high weight, votes by low weight, votes from newbies, votes from inactive members, voters that dont respond to RFC, voters who use the whole scale, voters who use a smaler scale, voters who vote 7 too much, voters who vote too high, voters who vote too often.......just to name a FEW and I havent even mentioned any of the other issues people complain about.

JEEZ......can we lighten up?????  I apologize for the sarcasm but I really feel sorry for the majority of the DA users reading the forums and the total of forum participants do not represent the majority!

Mrs. Stapp,

Well.... please upload some photos so you can objectively experience the pattern voting by some these days. You might shift your perspective. (And, I'd sure like to see your wonderful images in the contest again.)

The source of the pattern voting problem is not those who comment in the forums about pattern voting

BRAVO! Mortgage Girl / MrsDaughtry / MrsStapp BRAVO!

Thank you so much for your insight and perspective. EVERYONE needs to cool their jets, focus on their own photography, and not be so concerned with what everyone else is doing, otherwise our viewfinders might soon rust over from overexposure to all the tears.
.
Thanks again, you vote is important to me regardless of the weight behind it or the number of images you choose to post on the site. IMO all forms of participation are most welcome. WE

Mrs. Stapp hit the nail right on the head. It could not have been said better.

The bottom line is that we may have more complaints on the site than we have images in the pool. This is a major problem!

I like to vote to relax and wind down from my day and for many months now, have not been able to vote more than a few images. I'm now surfing the net to find other sites and interesting things to do.

It seems that we have to many people who go out and take 10 frames and return home thinking they have 10 award winning images. They then upload all 10 images and work the forum, the system, the buddies, and intimidate people to reach high votes. This says to me that too many people are too concerned with scores and could really care less about the quality of their photographs.

Just my 2 cents.
