OK....When you enter an image, the default background is white and the font is black.  If you change the background to black, you should change the font to a legible color. All you have to do is change the default background code "FFFFFF" to the default Font code of "3B3B3B" AND change the default Font code '3B3B3B' to the default background code of 'FFFFFF'. If you cannot do this, leave the codes alone. If you want to be fancy, go ahead, just make sure you can read the font. Check the submission before you leave the page. There is a link to do this on the submission page. Thank you.

.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

.

OK...thanks again....I feel better know.

Or you can just type in "black" & "white"

I think some members do this on purpose so viewers won't see the photographer's name on the image after voting on them. Most of the time it's black on black so that means both fields had to be changed.

Well I would hate to vote down a good image because of it.  I also would hate to not vote on the image. But if it does not stop, I may have to consider either option.

When one of these photos has come up for me, I assumed it was a glitch of some kind, so I skipped by it. Can't imagine anyone going to such lengths to remain 'anonymous'.

Maybe Eric could prevent people from choosing the same color for BG and font.

A reactionary, I am. An image appeared in my voting window with red background and red text. Completely obliterated the text. I voted a dismal "1". I made sure to add comments suggesting a resubmit of the image with legible text. I am so sorry. I fear I made an enemy today. It was harsh action, but red on red was intentional, no?

The use of entirely inappropriate and, very often bizarre colour schemes to frame so many images is a nightmare scenario conjured from the lowest depths of Hades. Vomit inducing Puke Green background with Dried Blood font - ah, that'll do the job.

.

Or, how's about - Black on Black? Naaahh. Cliche.

White on White. Naaahh, Passe.

Grey on Grey? Yes, that may sway

The harshest critics of the day

.

I really can't abide the great swatches of colours to choose from. Like a Supermarket the choice overwhelms and tempts the easily tempted to make choices that, they may, and we will, regret. What is wrong with just Black and White? It would simplify things enormously and also end the occasional dizzy spell induced by some of the more lurid offerings.
