Some background first. There are some users who have been with the site for quite a long time who were grandfathered in with accounts that do not work well under this new system. In short, they have hundreds of available upload slots and have voted for (in some instances) every image possible, yet they still run a deficit due to the volume of images in their accounts.
After much private consideration, I elected to purge vote history older than 90 days from the system as some relief for these users. This means that for a short time, there will be the possibility of DOUBLE VOTING for an image. This is an outright violation of the standard site policy and will never be repeated, but it is a help to those users who have actually contributed quite a lot but their accounts were designed to become unruly.
Further, I chose to execute this for ALL ACCOUNTS as it would have been unfair to the rest of the community to allow only those accounts to double vote.
I debated about making this public as I know nearly all of the community would oppose this one-time move, but I try to operate with full transparency.
To be completely clear, you would only be able to double vote for an image that has been active for at least 90 days.

GOOD CALL. This should not pose any real problems and may even get a few more images to the 80 raw vote Archive slot (especially Signature shots) a little faster. The real advantage will be when all images start averaging two to three votes a day and will hit the voting max in 1/3 the time. With this shorter cycle you want even have 90 days of data for any images. WE
