| Thanks for that, If this means I'm improving then I'm a very happy man, where I am on the site is not my thing, to improve and help others is more important I say, I give back in votes much more than I get back, but I have done that for a long time now, the life blood on this site is voting, it has been said a lot, but some vote some don't, I like to vote, to see other photos helps me to improve, but I have started from the bottom twice now so it goes to show it can be done by someone just starting today, many thanks to every one who has helped in the passed, and I hope will also in the future.

Congrats John!!
First time since I joined DA that I've seen a change at the top - much credit to Mrs Daughtry for staying there for so long, no doubt she'll be back contesting for the top spot before long.
There's also a number of members just below that could contest for it and not to mention those that already have the points but need more images to vote on or need to up their voting to obtain their points.
It would certainly be added interest to all members if we saw a real tussle for the top spot with the lead changing every now and then.
Can you hang on til Christmas John??
What do you think guys? Who'll be the DA Chrstmas No 1?
That's a little challenge for everyone for whom it is possible to reach No 1 - you'll of course have to upload your best photos and vote loads and loads to acquire the points due to you.
Only 6/7 weeks to go. Will the lead change?

| Many thanks guys, comments mean a lot to me, xmas number 1, ha ha ha don't know about that, what I would like is the Number 1 highest rated photo here on DA now that would be something, what with all the great shots here , but I'll walk before I can run, that's my goal.the best xmas for me would be to see Richard back here doing what he does best, the mentor, for me DA is not the same, big big miss, but you never know, what might santa might bring, do you.
