What am I missing (apart from a few grey cells). I normally make contact with other members via comments left on their images. How do I contact a member otherwise? If I locate the member via a search it brings up their portfolio but still no obvious way of contacting them. I believe that the portfolio itself should contain an obvious means of contact. Help.

| Glynn, Just go to the forum. At the top, click on members and type in the name in the search box. Then you will get a line of info which includes an email. The email goes through the system, it is not a private email, but then you can email and ask for a private one. Hope this helps.

Glynn, I agree.... an clear "CONTACT MEMBER" link would be great....
But, an alternative is to go to a profile, open any photos of theirs, and use the "send private message" link (below the image) to contact the member......
just a thought,
Daniel

| Hi Glynn, If you want to contact someone who participates in the forum you can click on the name at the top of the post and a drop down gives you options, Send private message or send Email are just two of them. If they do not participate in the forums then it is less obvious. On another subject Congratulations on another Pic in National Geographics Daily Dozen Today 27th Sept (Link Below) http://www7.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/yourshot/index.html

If you follow the link below, you can do a jigsaw of Glynn's Snail on the National Geographic website. click on next till you get to page 24. Click on Glynn's Snail (Bottom left) and it will generate a jigsaw to do.
Click on the pic to make it disappear then move all the pieces into the correct locations with your mouse. After its complete it will give you your time to complete.
I did it in 4 Minutes 21 seconds. Second attempt 3:24
