Thanks Ron and Susan. NG eh? (To the tune New York New York) If I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere, because of you DA, DA.

I never knew that you were so close Ron - interesting. Theres another guy who recently joined DA, Ian Clowes, whose had quite a few wins already with some quality shots, he lives near Chester. I'm thinking that we could maybe get together sometime and all indulge our hobby at different locations and split the costs. Might be a lot of fun with some top awards to boot, and I'd be really interested in seeing how each others individual shots of the same location differed - we could all learn a great deal.

All of our best work will ultimately disappear - like tears in rain.

Thanks Bhasmang, Kiwi and Linda.

I've just had an email confirming that my shot will be in the November issue of NGM - I'm flabbergasted.

Dear Glyn:
I am a researcher confirming information about your photograph of a snail to run in the Your Shot section in the November issue of National Geographic Magazine. Margaret Zackowitz, editor of the Your Shot page has already contacted you, but I would like to confirm with you the following quotation attributed to you:  "Snails rarely look dynamic."  If you would please confirm this information as soon as possible, I would be very grateful as we are on deadline.  Thank you so much.  Mary
