Update: I had a message from NG this morning

Dear Glynn:

I am the editor for National Geographic’s Your Shot page. I am happy to
tell you that your photo of a snail has been chosen as one of several
potential finalists. Could you please tell me a little more about your
picture, and about yourself? That way I can tell you if you’re going to be
in the magazine.

1. Where was this photo taken? Do you know what the snail was doing? (I
know nothing about snails!)
2. Where do you live, how old are you, and what do you do when you are not
photographing?
3. How long have you been interested in photography?

We are on a tight deadline, so I hope to hear from you as soon as possible.
Thanks very much!

Sincerely,

Margaret Zackowitz
