| Okay I wanna know.. Who has the scoop on this wonderful event which is supposed to be happening around the 27th of Aug.?(Mars being close to Earth) Will this be something that anyone can capture?...and Who will be trying to photograph this?.. Anyone?.. and what would be the challenges and equipment necessary to get this...totally curious..

Did you receive an email regarding Mars coming very close to earth in late August 2007? If so, this is an email that's been going around for 5 years now.
This event actually happened in 2003 and ever since then for some reason
some people enjoy changing the year and recirculating an email about this.
Mars will actually not be very close to Earth at all this year and the
closest it gets will be in the month of December and it will be quite far to
the north from our vantage point, I believe..
There will be some fairly close passes in the future but the next
time it will be as close as 56 million kilometers, like it was in 2003,
will be the year 2287.

| No it wasn't an email I don't believe,,,I thought I just saw it surfin?...hmmm well thanks for the info man!! I hadn't seen this story and nor do I remember it from five years ago?? I am glad...lol I didnt set up outside with chairs and the kids and wait to see it...LOL....

Planet X, or Nibiru, entering our solar system, has been the suspect in Mar's long ago cataclysm.

On the ancient Mayan calendar, 2012 is the end of their expected time. Some people think this may correlate with the long cycle of Planet X and may predict the return to our portion of the solar system.
Do I believe Planet X will come close enough to Earth on its next traverse through the solar system to be an extinction of life event (ELE)? No, but I haven't made plans beyond 2012, yet.
Actually, I think we are at a much greater risk of being hit by an errant asteroid the size of Mt. Everest. That, in itself, would be an ELE. Not necessary to worry about Nibiru.

| I believe also that some have interpreted the Bible and also came to the 2012 conclusion as well.. However in my own study I will hold steadfast to what it says in that,,we will not know the time of his coming. But to be diligent in our watch.. asteroids....hitting.....a scary thought isnt it?...hopefully if that ever happened,,,it will be quick.
