Hi

This is my entry this week.

A little story behind it - I just spent about an hour taking shots of my eyes.... on their own, together, happy eyes, sad eyes - even tried to cry.

Anyway, when setting up I took a few test shots to see if I was in a good position and this was my very first shot.

I was using a polarizer filter and no flash for this shot and I'm astonished that I seem to have captured an eye muscle or blood vessel in the corner of my eye. It is an eye muscle or blood vessel isn't it??? Not sure if the shadow has helped do this or not?

So I thought I'd use this one instead of any of the others as it's a bit different and I like the spookiness of it with the shadow.

Title: Eye Shadow

I may be smoking something, but I see a reflection! Do you have a picture in your house in the room where you took it? I actually see a man that has a beard! I know I know!!!! Me...wacky!

LOL Susan - I kinda saw that too - I thought it looked like some kind of God - Thor or something! LOL I've not been smoking anything that would make me see anything like that.

Really glad someone else seen a bearded man though! I didn't want to say anything after leaving a comment on someone's photo on here stating that I thought I could see a ghost of a little girl - unfortunately they couldn't see it and I felt like a looney! I don't even believe in ghosts!

With regards to photos etc - my walls are totally bare at the moment as I'm decorating and I didn't have the TV on either. There's not even any ornaments or anything light could reflect onto. I didn't do any post processing on it either other than a crop and resize.

I could only explain it as I did - an eye muscle or blood vessel as I couldn't come up with a better explanation. Bit baffled by it - somebody else should try it and see if they can capture their eye muscle or blood vessel and if someone gets a similar shot then it'll solve the mystery. (And stop me thinking I've got a bearded God in my eye! )

snicker..

it might very well be a bearded eye muscle lol...or could it not be the light reflecting off of your forehead (via perspiration) into the lens and then bouncing off of that onto your eyeball and then captured in the piccie...?????

sorry db,,,Just a thought.

Hey Tonka - that's a bit far fetched is it not? What have you been smoking?

TUFKA - It's not him that's in my eye - all those pins would have given me eye ache.
