Each situation is unique. In this case, being that the focus was just on 10s, it is reasonable to first look at how those 10s are spread. If 250 of them were for a single user, that is likely a problem.

Yes, of course, it was reasonable to first look at the spread. I didn't mean to suggest that it
wasn't.

This actually brings up another idea...
If someone WAS malicious and decided to keep tabs on images I took for example BEFORE doing any voting they could. Just before they vote, they go and click my profile and look over my images. When voting, if one came up, they could vote differently because it was mine. No one flame me, this is hypothetical.

It seems to me it would make sense for images in my portfolio to be hidden from a certain user until that user has already voted on it. After they had voted on that particular image, they could go see it all day long...And wonder at it's beauty and technical perfection.

LOL.... Sorry.. If you heard what you wrote the way my mind read it you would be laughing too... Picture, A parody of a pompous, self important, egotist . I must say the timing and delivery was spot on.

Back on track.. The only problem with you suggestion is that until someone has voted on a bunch of images are they going to see anything. It will seem as though no one has any images. I don't do it often but on occasion I will like a style that I like and want to see more in an effort to get a feel for how it achieve it. IMO this is one of those baby with the bathwater things.

"Building and maintaining the integrity of the system" is very important.  I am gratified to see our Admin publicly restating his commitment to that end, and thankful for the effort he puts into it.

Thank you Eric, keep up the good work.
