Thank you to all of the fans of Liberty. This was my first raptor photo and is by far one of the most popular. I spent 20 years in the Navy as a submariner and this bird has had significant meaning to me. I appreciate all of your comments and votes that made this possible. I am honored to be the recipient of this award. There are many wonderfully talented photographers contributing to this site and I am looking forward to another great year of Daily Awards winners!
Thank you to Eric for making this site possible too. As member number 174, I have watched this site evolve into what it is today mostly due to his tireless efforts. Additionally, I thank my number one fan - Paula Mackey who seems to always be waiting for me to post something new (which I have not done for a while). Last but not least, I thank Richard Hahn for significantly raising the bar here at Daily Awards and providing us with some of the most fantastic wildlife shots on this site.
This is a wonderful site and I am truly honored to be featured as the Annual Signature Award winner.

Congratulations, Randy, on your well deserved win of DailyAwards' top signature award. It is an accomplishment which you will cherish and appreciate forever. Your image is magnificent. Best eagle feather detail I've ever seen. Truly an effective and inspirational image. Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to seeing your image on the front page for the entire year. (And, I appreciate dropping out of the "target zone".)
