I think you are a bit confused between "challenges" and "contest". So to enter a photograph for the contest, you first go to "my stuff" in that go to "my images" and now click on upload. Now select an image from your data( your computer) and upload that in the category it fits the best. Now your image is in the voting pool, which will be viewed and voted by other members here and if the image is good enough for a standard/signature award, it will win it and that will be shown on your profile page Hope this clarifies a few things for you.:)

I guess I don't understand. I entered into a challenge and won first. What challenges do I need to be entering to get it shown on the profile page? As per your post.

And to get awards on your profile, enter your photographs in the contest, and wins in the contest are shown on the profile page.

As I said it was being debated few days back, that the wins in challenges be shown on the profile page.

How do I get awards on my profile. Any why aren't challenge awards shown on your profile?? Wouldn't that make sense to show people that you are winning awards??? Seems kinda weird to me. What is the point of entering challenges and winning them if no on knows that you are winning them?

Congratulations on challenge wins, wins in challenges are not showed on your profile here. If I remember correctly it was being debated here that whether these wins should be uploaded or mentioned on the profile page or not.....

I too am pretty new to the site. I have won a 3rd place and a 2nd place out of 5 challenges but I don't see anything on my profile page. Do I need to do something to make them show?
