Blue every time you say something about those remarks you make me giggle:D ahhh at least I know someone is gettin what I am trying to accomplish...Buaaaaa hahaha...I just laugh when I make others laugh and I have a stupid sense of humor so then I laugh even more cause I think I am funny..rotf right now..heeeeee sorry didnt want to hijack the thread..teehee..apology in advance ;)

I generally am too anal not to respond with a thank you..lol..I am a spaz though....

Even though I may repeat myself with the same thank you ,, it is important to me to convey how really important every quick comment, comment and critique is,,,they are not just looked at and then closed, they really matter...

No I do not expect the same in return I know it is time consuming and sometimes ya just don't know what to say either but it is nice to know if they have been helpful... So no worries...It was nice of you to post and say thank you,, and you are welcome....of course if I have not commented on your images ( I comment on a lot so I cannot remember all whom I have ) this is an in advance you are welcome....lol...

I have wrestled with this same thing! I have finally decided that quick comments made when voting, probably don't require a thank you. It could fill up a voters 'inbox' in no time, and the quick commenter may not even remember the image. Still I feel guilty leaving those blank as I go through and answer 'detailed' comments! I try NEVER to leave a detailed comment unanswered... sometime it takes me a while... but especially to comment requests. I feel that if a person has taken the time to reply to a comment request, that they deserve an acknowlegment for it.[/color]:)

I am pretty new here on DailyAwards, so I have not yet decided "best practices", I note that some people respond to each comment/critique with a thank you. While that seems like good etiquette, it also kind of reminds me of the flight attendant's saying "thank you" (and goodbye). With so much repetition, it seems to lose a bit of the personal side of the interaction. I've also thought about responding just to those who specifically write more personalized and detailed comments. Alas, then I feel it might be more of a slight to others than not responding at all.

So thus far, I haven't really offered my thanks to those who have left me comments or critiques. And I really want to. So I will use this as the venue. (And yes, I recognize it's probably a bad choice as well, since not everyone reads the forums!)
