I like the area of focus too,,nice dof...it just goes right to the main dish and has a wonderful diagonal as well..

It is just a pleasant photo En!! my my are you quite the cook as well?...:)..

this internet cafe is too hot!!! and i only have seven mins left!

catacombs today were cool!!! 6 million people down there 20 metres below ground!!! insane!

2 gigs now full!!! hopefully there are some good ones. there were cool clouds behind the eiffel tower the other day and i think i am going to make it a black and white image. i'll have to see how it comes out!!!!!

anyone travelling here...don't do what i did...3.50 euros for a can of coke!!! crazy! talk about cheating the tourists out of their money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

great here though! i love travelling on the metro! really must start a campaign to get people here to use deoderant though! anyone know why they don't?????

k... gotta go!!! can't wait to see the other entries on this challenge!!!!!!

Mmmmmh smoked salmon, yummy, making my mouth reading the thread! A restaurant here does a hotcake, smoked salmon and avocado stack with hollindaise sauce, scrumdidilumptious!

Umm...just lookin at smoked salmon is disgusting LOL..some Sous Chef I am :D...

I absolutely love to fish actually nor do I mind cleanin the fresh catch..,,go figure,,I just do not care for fish at all..

I love shellfish,,them tasty ole bottom feeders lol..

and there are one or two kinds of fish I can handle..being the ole battered haddock and Opa(hawaiin moonfish)oh and what is that other one called...."Poor man's lobster" ...forget the name of it... but if it tastes fishy..forget it.

Have you tried Smoked Salmon Tonka? (Scottish, of course)

You don't need to do all that stuff with "a" packet of smoked salmon! :D LOL

Is it just salmon you have all these feelings about or is it fishy things/smells in general? :hehe:

I HATE SALMON, I hate eatin it, I hate cookin it, I hate filleting it , I hate smellin it and I hate lookin at it!...Ugh had to clean and cook it all the time in the kitchen..gross.

Just spoke to someone that knows about tapioca pudding - meant to have been popular over here a long time ago - similar to semolina? Sometimes called Fish eyes?:)

Have to go shopping to try and find the stuff - got the salmon and the mayo already. This will be good, interesting still life type challenge - everyone will have to use their creativity to make their arrangement stand out. Very interesting........ very challenging!

I'm really enjoying these challenges Zonka - good on you for running them!!

I've seen what Eric has been working on for them and it'll be a fantastic addition to the site once it's all up and running - especially as loads more members will be able to take part.

Maybe worth a token point to the winner each week Eric?? Just as a little incentive to encourage other members to take part on a regular basis?

I like the texture of tapioca pudding lol...but it has to be made just right..kinda like rice pudding..it is totally disgusting if it isnt just right..

If anyone else out there didn't know what Tapioca Pellets were then this will maybe help you - though probably not with the challenge. LOL
