The quality there is set to 100% JPEG (i.e., no loss). The voting window default display is set at 640 pixels and voters must option to view any larger image. Also, larger posts are at the mercy of the image resizer that somtimes fails to create the best (first impression) 640 pixel display.&lt;br&gt;.&lt;br&gt;I choose to post at the 640 pixel voting display to retain control over image resizing.  I have seen more images disadvantaged by a larger display than those that have been advantaged.
