You could always copy and paste into Babelfish which I just had to do recently but it would be nice to know what language the comments were made in..sure some could guess but some languages are hard to recognize..

Maybe in our profile there could be a language specified which could be visible when any comments are made.??

I fully agree with 'tolerance'.

Is there a way, any way, the quick comments could be somewhat 'bilingual'? When a vote deviates over 2 pts from average, it would be nice to have at least an inkling at what the voter was thinking.

[color="navy"]Those users and members who do not have English as their first language are disadvantaged. Seriously, we should be tolerant and respectful of those who want to participate here with their outstanding photography, regardless of their ability to exchange comments and critiques.

Oh yes I received a blank reply to my RFC today. But as for this photographer I know that he/she doesn't know english that well, I can tell this from the names of the photograph that he/she has. So can't help it. :hehe:

I have received a couple of "blank" comment request replies. I can only assume that the person does not want to make a comment but by sending the message back "blank" it shows up as "completed" on their image stats so giving the impression that they answer all requests!!!!

That's all fine and good........but then don't vote 2pts below what the photo is averaging and not be able to explain why. I received 8 blank RFC's this morning, and only after asking 'please.... something in writing', did I get the one I can't read. Surely, they could click on the quick comment if nothing else.

What do you do when you get RFC's that are blank..nothing written at all? Then when you asked specifically...'please tell me why you are voting so low on my photos?'......the response does come.....in a different language!

Anyone else have this issue..........please tell me I'm not the only one!:w00t:
