| I have posted DAs defination of a still life below... with a bolded emphisis for a ignorant member, or a member with an agenda...... who does not understand simple definations OR has an agenda!!!!!!!!! Still Life: A "Still Life" is a work of art depicting a collection of usually inanimate objects, typically natural -- (flowers, game, sea shells and so on) -- or man-made domestic items -- (drinking glasses, foodstuffs, pipes, books and so on). A "Still Life" is an arrangement of anything that does not move or is dead. Anything still living is not a "Still Life". DA defination of still lifes does include flowers.... I restate.... a DA member with a number of winning photos.... that votes a 6 on a good photo of a flower that is in a still life category (that is a higher weight member)... or a deer in nature instead of wildlife .... IS ignorant or has an agenda..... JILL IS THIS CLEAR? Daniel

The question still stands would Admin add to the categories or define them better so they are more clear? Since everyone has different opinions on what belongs in each category I do not see him changing anything because even if he did, there is no way to please everyone, and there is no point in trying.

Daniel has it right. I, too, think that Jill has an agenda. Tom, don't blast away at Daniel. Talk to the person with the agenda.... that being....Jill!!!! The agenda is to keep to the forum on topic and if you want to whine take it to the debate forum.
Richard, I am still letting people know you are one of the persons to go to for help if they have questions and they need good solid answers. You might be grumpy but you are a good teacher.
I suggest new category: Agendas
