I was just typing some comments on an image prior to scoring it .......when I accidentlly hit the Return button. (I've been doing a fair amount of typing today)

My intentions were to score the image with an 8 but after hitting the Return button a Default score of "1" was allocated to the image.

Fortunately, that score was kicked out by the system as it "deviated more than the allowed tolerance and was discarded."


Is there another way of doing this?

Perhaps if you score a 5 or less then you always get asked "Are you sure you wish to rate this image with a score of....."

Obviously, I'm embarrassed by this, especially as I don't think I've ever scored an image so low. Especially one that I basically liked!

Maybe this has happened to other members too?

(I've sent the image owner an apology and an explanation.)

That is a good point. I believe it is actually the web browser that decides enter = submit. I will look into a way to prevent this. At the least I can make it prompt if no value has been selected.
