Following up on Wemor's answer to my query in "Ask Questions," when changes are made to site procedure, how will we all be notified? I haven't even received notification of my wins for months, even though I asked about it. That's the reason for my concern.
Go when you can, go where you can, shoot what you can

I've gotten email notification of my wins a few times, but usually I don't. I generally just check the home page to see if any of my pics are there. Or go to my account to see if I've "gained" weight.

The root to this problem stems from the global spam issue. For a site to become 'whitelisted' it costs a lot of money and you can run a risk of loosing the certification if too many people click the 'this is spam' button unnecessarily.
So, DA email is lumped into the low priority bucket. Steps have been taken to beef up DAs email reputation, but only a few email providers recognize these new methods. Gmail, however, is one of those providers. I strongly recommend use of Gmail as they do a good job managing email. By default, all email is delivered to you and Gmail will simply sort it into the spam folder if it believes it is spam. So, even if DA email ends up there, you can find it and mark it as 'this is not spam.'
Sorry for the complicated answer, but it is a complicated problem.
Edited to add: There may also be a simple solution to your problem. Make sure you have the 'receive general communications' option checked on under my stuff / my account / update profile

| Thanks for the explanation, Eric I have GMAIL and I checked my spam box, nothing from DA. It's really not a big deal to me that I don't get the notifications consistently. I can always just check the winners page and see if anything looks familiar.
