I'd like to get rid to quick voting also. Why the need?Actually, numeric keypad (text) voting is very convenient if it's not abused by the speed voters. This method of voting does not encourage leaving comments, but not many do that anyway.
Text voting is easier for those members/users who are not very good with mouse clicks and placement. Seriously, for anyone with a handicap that limits range of motion, text voting is a feature that allows accessibility.
Pattern voters are now flagged by the system algorithms, so speed voting with one key is hazardous to one's account status.
I like to have options. I'd hate to narrow down the ways to vote. Good points, I wasn't thinking of anything other than 'speedsters'!
