I could get existential here and question the difference with regard to outcome but I do understand the concerns.  However....my GUESS is that the symbol is generally implemented as a means of protection and NOT as a way to wreak havoc without fear of reprisal.  Again, I'm not sure how this is beneficial to anyone really...unless the symbol was changed daily.  (Hope I didnt give anyone an idea, LOL)

well, I have hit the motion button for this proposal. What I think is strange here is that you cannot arrive at any of "blanks" profile pages when the blank name shows up. I believe that all profiles need to be available to all the membership...and agree that using an alias is fine...but staying in the dark and keeping all other members in the dark should not be tolerated. I am happy to see 10 motions for this on the DAGC page and am hopeful it will be a breeze to pass through the new 2/3 majority vote.

I think this an easy fix. If there name of the photographer is blank, just have the it revert to the user name.
