Hi, I am still fairly new at photography and I am always looking for feedback and ways to improve my photography.

Here are links to two of my photos, any input is greatly appreciated..

These are nice images that tell of the fire department.

The one thing that glared out at me was the date stamp in the corner of the image. If they are submitted here and it came up for me to vote, I would score it down a point because of that. So you may want to turn that off on your camera.

Welcome to DA!

Susan,

Thanks for the reply. I had honestly never thought about that. The feature is now turned off as we speak.

Yay Woody!
Are you a fireman yourself? Just curious as all your piccies are fire related.

If so....thanks!

Yes, since I was 15. I can no longer actively fight fire due to an injury I received, so now I am the department photographer. Still keeps me involved somewhat

I looked at both image. It seems you do not straight your image. The first image, the building is not level in both sides. The second image the image is not level. Also would be better to clone out the date imprint on the bottom of your image.

I was born and brought up in Iran, a beautiful country full of history.
