Just an observation. I fully expected to wake up this morning and have an award on one of my images since it hit the 7.5 and 15 vote threshold last night.
Not a big deal. I don't really care about the award and 7.5 is a good overall score but it seems the threshold is higher than a few days ago when one of mine won at 7.5
I am sure it's because there was another image that hit the 15 votes but had a higher score but. It brings up a question:

Do I now have to wait until 30 votes to qualify again OR if my image is the highest scoring in that category tomorrow, will I win then? That has always confused me a little.

Your image is eligible to win any award at any time... for which it qualifies. Has to be the highest ranking image, without an award in the particular category, to win.
